Williams McKinley were recommended to a global Management Consultancy who needed a recruitment partner capable of developing and executing a number of targeted headhunting campaigns to attract high calibre Management Consultants specialising in Agile Transformation, IT Strategy and IT Architecture.

Faced with increased demand for their services from customers, the Management Consultancy had ambitious growth targets and felt that their current suppliers had struggled to identify the calibre of candidates required to fulfil these key hires.

Key Criteria:

  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives to support business growth with a focus on headhunting and delivering shortlists in line with the organisation’s DE&I targets.

  • Partner with key business stakeholders to identify the business needs and the type of specific candidate that will fit within their practices.
  • Understand the organisation’s internal employee development strategy in order to align candidates with similar ambitions.
  • Develop and execute targeted headhunting campaigns.
  • Ensure regular communication with the business stakeholders to amend role profiles where necessary based on the market.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment from identification through to onboarding and beyond; including a quarterly review meeting to ensure successful candidates had settled in, address any potential concerns and escalate where appropriate.

Outcome:

  • Enabled the organisation to fulfil their growth targets by delivering 40 Management Consultants across different seniority levels.
  • Candidate aftercare ensured that the business achieved a very high retention rate across these Consultants after 2 years.
