Senior Data Engineer - Azure / Databricks

Perm | Hybrid near Epsom 3 days on site | £75k + bonus

Our client, a global brand, is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their Customer Engagement team. You'll play a key role in improving how customer data is used to deliver personalised marketing and communication across platforms like Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

You'll design and build reliable data pipelines using tools like Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics, helping teams across marketing, product, and engineering make better, data-driven decisions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and integrations

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners

  • Lead on code quality and review processes

  • Support systems and tools used for customer engagement

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data or software engineering

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Familiar with CI/CD practices and agile delivery

You'll be supported with training, certifications, and access to the latest cloud technologies.
