Job Description

  1. Job Description

As part of a large-scale digital transformation program, we are looking for a motivated and hands-on Data Analyst to join our project team. The role combines two main areas: data migration and the establishment of Master Data governance foundations. The migration scope includes Oracle ERP, PLM, and MES systems at a minimum.

We are looking for an action-oriented individual who can dive into data, ensure its quality, and bring strong management discipline and analytical rigor to support a successful transformation.

  1. Responsibilities
  • Prepare the framework and processes for migration to target systems, mainly Oracle, Windchill, and MES (Odoo/TBD).
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of data governance rules.
  • Support data analysis, cleansing, and transformation activities for migration to target systems.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues (inconsistencies, duplicates, missing fields).
  • Work closely with business teams to understand functional requirements and ensure data consistency across the value chain.
  • Actively participate in data loading into systems, in close collaboration with technical teams.
  • Contribute to documenting data management processes and establishing sustainable standards.
  • Provide analytical support and build reports or dashboards to monitor data quality and migration progress.
  • Collaborate with project teams, IT, business stakeholders, and system integrators.
  1. Qualifications
  • In an industrial company context, strong understanding of functional processes and associated data requirements.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within transformation or migration projects.
  • Hands-on experience in data migration, ideally in an ERP deployment context.
  • Familiarity with Oracle is a strong plus: understanding of data structures, core data objects, and data loading transactions.
  • Good knowledge of data governance principles, especially related to master data objects.
  • Proficiency with data manipulation tools: advanced Excel, SQL, ETL tools, or automation scripts (Power Query, Python, etc.).
  • Higher education degree in computer science, data management, information systems, or a related field.

Soft Skills

  • Strong solution and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders (business, IT, external consultants).
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-specialists.
  • Agility and adaptability in a transforming environment.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

Languages

  • Fluent in French (written and spoken).
  • Very good professional level of English.
  1. Additional Requirements
  • This position requires on-site presence 80% of the time to ensure effective coordination of activities and direct interaction with project teams.
