Job Title

ERP Business Analyst

Main Mission

The ERP Business Analyst supports business teams in understanding, formalizing, and improving their operational processes, in alignment with the existing ERP system and the ongoing transformation program.

The role acts as a key interface between business users, the project team, and application experts to ensure consistent, efficient, and standardized use of the ERP in its current state.

The objective is to help business teams:

  • Clarify their current practices
  • Formalize target processes
  • Optimize the use of the existing ERP
  • Identify gaps between business needs and actual system usage
  • Prepare required changes within the ERP transformation program

Main Responsibilities

  1. Business Process Formalization
  • Facilitate workshops with business teams to understand current practices
  • Map and document existing processes, roles, information flows, and pain points
  • Define target processes aligned with company standards and ERP constraints
  • Identify gaps between real-life practices, documented procedures, and system usage
  1. Support for Existing ERP Usage
  • Support users in understanding ERP-supported processes
  • Promote consistent and compliant system usage across teams
  • Identify inefficiencies such as workarounds, duplication, and misuse
  • Recommend practical corrective actions to improve day-to-day ERP usage
  1. Interface Between Business and ERP Project
  • Gather, structure, and challenge business requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements
  • Facilitate collaboration between users, process owners, key users, and ERP experts
  • Contribute to impact analysis of process or system changes
  1. Transformation & Adoption Support
  • Support organizational and process changes driven by the ERP program
  • Contribute to documentation: SOPs, user guides, business rules, training materials
  • Upskill business teams on process and system best practices
  • Support UAT by ensuring test scenarios reflect real business needs
  1. Continuous Improvement
  • Identify pain points, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Support standardization across teams and departments
  • Improve data reliability and process discipline
  • Contribute to process governance through clear documentation

Profile Requirements

  • Degree in business, engineering, supply chain, finance, IT, or related field
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in an ERP environment
  • Strong understanding of operational processes in industrial or corporate settings
  • Experience facilitating workshops and supporting business users
  • Ability to bridge business needs, processes, and IT solutions
  • Experience in industrial transformation is a plus
  • Oracle ERP knowledge is a strong advantage
  • Experience with process standardization or core model deployment is a plus
