Job Description

PART TIME Support Engineer - 1st Line
Location: Banbury (Office-Based)
Contract: 2 days a week for an initial 6 months
Rate: £190 per day (Umbrella Rate)

We're currently partnering with a mid-sized business in Banbury that requires a 1st Line Support Engineer for a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Laptop and equipment builds (Autopilot / Intune enrolment).
  • Hardware swaps, returns, and stock management.
  • Desk-side troubleshooting for basic IT issues (login, Wi-Fi, M365 apps, printing, AV).
  • Supporting onboarding of new starters (kit handovers, induction support).
  • Keeping the IT asset register updated (Freshservice/Intune).
  • Escalating complex issues to any managed service provider (MSP).

Candidate Profile:

  • Junior level - 6-12 months IT support or relevant customer service experience.
  • Familiar with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 basics (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive).
  • Strong customer service skills and willingness to learn.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
